Note pain on face: abduction
adduction, flexion, extension, rotation (external by touching kneck,
internal by touching back). Note pain at beginning of abduction is
rotator cuff, pain at end may be due to ACJ OA. Passive rotation tested
with elbows at 90 degrees. Record power & neurovascular status.
Special Tests
Special Tests:
many, but not that important. The below 2 may be tested if suspected.
Winging of scapulae:
patient places hands in front & presses on wall (the scapula protudes like a wing)
Craniocleidodysostosis:
in this condition the patient lacks clavicles enabling them to bring both their shoulders to midline
